COPIES OF DOCKET CARDS AND CLAIMS REGISTERS
Copies of Court dockets and claims registers are available either upon advance request by telephone or by visiting one of the Clerk’s Offices. Copies ordered by telephone may be retrieved at one of the Clerk’s Offices and payment is due upon retrieval. The Court does not mail copies and copies not picked up within three days of a request will be discarded. To obtain copies at the Clerk’s Office, please use the PACER terminal located on the public counter.
COPIES OF COURT TRANSCRIPTS
- Copies of official transcripts already on file with the court are available through the PACER Service Center and/or the Clerk's Office as provided in the Procedures Governing the Electronic Availability and Redaction of Transcripts.
- Fees for Transcripts are set by the Judicial Conference of the United States (Link to Transcript fee rates.) (The Court does not have the ability to provide Real Time Transcripts).
- NOTE: A specific word index is generally not included with a transcript unless requested. Any request that a transcript include a specific word index should be made at the time the transcript is ordered.

RECORDINGS OF SEC. 341 MEETING OF CREDITORS
For information on how to obtain a copy of an audio recording of a § 341 meeting of creditors, please call (617) 788-0400. Generally, the U.S. Trustee retains recordings for a two-year period.
REQUESTING A CERTIFICATION/CERTIFIED COPY OF A CASE DOCUMENT
Registered ECF Users: ECF Users may fill out this form and request up to five (5) certifications/certified copies (documents or claims) in a single case or proceeding. ECF Users may file the form by accessing the Request for Certified Copy event using the search field from the blue ECF Menu Bar at the top of the page or by selecting Misc/Other under either the Bankruptcy or Adversary Menus. Applicable Fees will apply including fees for mailing.
Non-ECF Users: Non-ECF Users may request a Certification/Certified copy by filling out this form and delivering it to the Court by mail or in-person along with the Applicable Fees, set forth below.
REQUESTING COPIES OF RECORDINGS OF HEARINGS
Copies of recordings of hearings are available by CD or a thumb drive. The Court will provide the CD and, for a thumb drive, the party requesting the recording must provide the Court either in person or by mail a new, unopened package containing a USB thumb drive.
ECF Users may request a copy of a recording of hearing by filing out this form and filing it via the Request for Hearing Audio File event. The event can be accessed using the search field from the blue ECF Menu Bar at the top of the page or by selecting Misc/Other under either the Bankruptcy or Adversary Menus. Applicable Fees will apply including fees for mailing.
Non-ECF users may request a recording of hearing by filling out this form and delivering it to the Court by mail or in-person with the Applicable Fees, set forth below.
APPLICABLE FEES
ECF users may pay Applicable Fees online. Non-ECF users requesting a Certification/Certified Copy or a copy of a Recording of Hearing must include with their completed form the Applicable Fees in the form of a bank cashier's check or money order made payable to: Clerk, United States Bankruptcy Court. No personal checks will be accepted.
Copies Of Court Dockets And Claims Registers:
The charge for advance copying is $.50 cents per page, payable at the time of pickup. The charge for printing copies from the Clerk’s Office PACER terminal is $.10 cents per page.
Certification/Certified Copy:
The charge for a certification or certified copy is $12.00. The search fee is $34.00 per document and there is no search fee if the requester performs the search in person at the Court. The photocopy fee is $.50 and the printing fee is $.10.
Recordings of Hearings:
The charge for a recording of hearing is $34.00.
Mailing a Copy of a Recording or a Certification/Certified Copy:
Copies of recordings of hearings, either by CD or thumb drive, or for a certification/certified copy of a case document may be retrieved at one of the Clerk’s Offices. There is no charge to mail a CD or thumb drive. To receive a copy by mail of any certification/certified copy that exceeds 5 pages, the requester must provide a self-addressed stamp envelop or contact the court to arrange prepaid delivery via FedEx.
