For emergency filings, please consult Appendix 5, Section B, of Local Rules, as amended by Standing Order 2020-5.  It provides, in part, as follows:

1. For Emergency Filings between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM on court days, parties should call the Clerk's Office at:

Eastern Division (Boston) - 617-748-5300 – press 0
Central Division (Worcester) - 508-770-8900
Western Division (Springfield) - 413-785-6900

2. For Emergency filings before 8:30 AM or after 5:00 PM on court days, but NOT BETWEEN 8:30 AM AND 5:00 PM ON COURT DAYS, parties may contact the Clerk’s Office regarding an emergency by calling (617) 748-5317.  If you call between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM EST, you are unlikely to reach a live operator.  Please leave a message and you can expect a return call before 8:00 AM.
