On January 22, 2019, the Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts announced that the federal judiciary can sustain normal operations through January 31, 2019. Shortly, it will determine whether that deadline will be extended through February 1. Further extensions beyond February 1, 2019, will not be possible.

All proceedings and deadlines will remain in effect, unless otherwise ordered. Case Management/Electronic Case Filing (CM/ECF) will remain in operation for the electronic filing of documents.
