Pilot Program for Cashless Policy Extended to Boston

Tuesday, March 17, 2020

Effective March 18, 2020, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, District of Massachusetts will extend its pilot program for a cashless policy to our Boston Office. This policy is already in effect in our Springfield and Worcester offices. This policy effects those who do not file electronically; those who file electronically will continue to pay electronically. During the pilot program, a debtor with an open case must pay any filing fee by cashier’s check or money order. All other parties and a debtor with a closed case, may pay any filing fee by cashier’s check, money order, personal check, or credit card. The office in Boston will have information about where to obtain a cashier’s check or money order within a short distance from the office.
