The Court is pleased to acknowledge the commitment of individual attorneys and law students to pro bono legal work during the last two years. Attorneys who certify that they have met the specific criteria established by the Court’s Pro Bono Legal Services Advisory Committee will receive mention on the Court’s Honor Roll. Law students who have met the criteria may submit a certification, along with the acknowledgement of the attorney supervisor. Participation in the Court’s Honor Roll is entirely voluntary.
Those attorneys and law students who submit certifications by October 10, 2019, will receive a certificate of acknowledgement and appreciation for their commitment to pro bono legal work, will be listed on the Pro Bono Honor Roll on the Bankruptcy Court’s website, and will be invited to attend a recognition event at the United States District Court, Harold D. Donohue Federal Building and U.S. Courthouse in Worcester on October 17, 2019. At that event, the Court will also present the divisional awards recognizing those volunteers who have improved the availability of or delivered volunteer legal services in the District of Massachusetts.
