Effective January 1, 2018, the Court will suspend its "Cape Calendar." The decision to discontinue holding Court in Barnstable, Massachusetts was reached after careful review and evaluation of many factors, including the number of matters actually heard at a given session, the number of parties, their counsel, and Court personnel regularly traveling to Hyannis from the Boston area, and the practical limitations, both physical and technological, of holding Court away from the Court's three official divisional offices. The Court will consider reinstating the Cape Calendar should future circumstances warrant.
