Returned Mail

The debtor, by providing a verified mailing list of creditors, assumes responsibility for ensuring that all listed creditors receive notices as due. Undeliverable notices are sent by return mail to the debtor’s attorney, who with the debtor must make an attempt to correct any incorrect addresses, resend the returned notices and notify the Court as to the address corrections.

Mail processed by the Bankruptcy Noticing Center (BNC) with the Court’s return address that is undeliverable, is returned to the BNC and disposed of after 30 days.

Returned mail which was originally mailed locally by the Court is entered on the docket and held for 30 days after which it is destroyed.
