Adjustment of Eastern and Western Divisional Line Two Important Notices

(1) In order to balance the caseload among the different divisions of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the following cities and towns will be shifted from the Eastern Division into the Central Division (Worcester) effective for all cases, in all chapters, filed on or after May 1, 2014:
  • ASHLAND
  • FRAMINGHAM
  • HOLLISTON
  • BELLINGHAM
  • FRANKLIN
  • MEDWAY

The U.S. Trustee's Office in Worcester will oversee the administration of the Chapter 11 cases and appoint the trustees in the Chapter 7 cases filed from these cities and towns on or after May 1, 2014. Denise Pappalardo, the Standing Chapter 13 Trustee in the Central and Western Divisions, will be the trustee in the Chapter 13 cases filed from these cities or towns on or after May 1, 2014. The 341 Meetings of Creditors will be held at 446 Main Street, 1st Floor, in Worcester. The U.S. Bankruptcy Court is located at 595 Main Street in Worcester.



(2) Attorneys are reminded to check the Court's website periodically for announcements and standing orders. Important announcements and standing orders are emailed to all registered ECF users, the same as this current email, however, if you misplace the email or if it goes to your junk folder, be aware that the information is available on our website. It is your responsibility to remain current with the Court's local rules, standing orders and other significant events and information.
